Every first week of October in the office meant one thing, Trick or Treat planning! I loved the yearly Trick or Treat celebration in the office, not just only for the candies or goodies, the HR preparation for a nice program for the kids but also the floor decoration contest where we got to showcase creativity (and even win cash prizes!).
I also DIY’d my son’s little Lego Dracula costume out of folders, cartolina, and boxes, while my dad completed the look by making his cape. For the Pokemon theme, I also made him a pokeball costume, badges and even the jack-o-lantern bucket. ![]()
The most memorable celebration was in 2017 when our floor went all out with a Lego theme and we won first prize! The teamwork, late nights, and even our manager approving OT just for prep made it unforgettable.
Sadly, the tradition paused during the pandemic, and my last Trick or Treat was in 2019 before I resigned in 2021. Still, I’ll always treasure the fun, creativity, and bond we shared.
Sharing some photos that I was able to retrieve.
