Talky Tuesday | Your Favorite Thing You’ve Made for Your Kid?

Hello LOKLiK Fans!

It’s Tuesday again — time for a little chat.

There are so many moms in this community, and every time we see something made with love for a child, it just feels incredibly heartwarming :face_holding_back_tears: It always reminds me of what my own mom used to make for me — especially those sweaters she’d knit every single winter.

Moms really do have a kind of magic — turning fabric, glue, and maybe a bit of glitter into something full of love. From handmade costumes to tiny lunchbox notes, the things we make for our kids are always precious :yellow_heart:

:thread: Out of all the things you’ve made for your kid — which one’s your favorite?
Or one that brings back sweet memories?
Show us a photo or tell us the story — we’d love to hear!

(P.S. Dads, you’re totally welcome too… haha.)

:pushpin: We’ll randomly pick 3 fun replies from the comments next Tuesday — and each will receive 100 points as a little treat.

Until another Tuesday—stay creative. :sparkles:

I really enjoyed making this upgraded cubee minecraft paper craft. He requested to make it a litte “extra” so I placed magnets in the different parts so it seems like it’s volting-in when the magnets connect

Here’s a link to the video of how it works:

That´s gorgeous. Do you know you can obtain their real maincraft skin in any maincraft skin editor? They may love it.

I just made these Lightning McQueen vinyl stickers for my nephew.

This was the first dress I ever made. It was for my daughters first birthday. She absolutely loved it and wouldn’t stop wearing it until one day it no longer fitted her. Now it lives on her favorite cabbage patch doll I gave her. Looking at it now, there is so many things I would of done differently but it’s a reminder that no matter how hard or frustrating something is a beautiful creation can come from it.

I made these as Christmas gifts for my daughter and two grandsons last year. Of course, the boys love their games. And the bag is an image of their dog.

Before I ventured into paper crafts. I do crochet.
My son always requests hats, stuffed animals so I made one.
For my daughter crochet rompers. I made her rompers/onesies for monthly milestones.
She can still wear some of it

Made crochet stuffed toys and romper for my kids.

It’s from a UK company call Custom Fabric. They do some beautiful designs or they will print your own design on a whole range of different fabrics. I’d recommend having a look at them.

So cute and great idea with the yearly theme/rhyme. Maybe something with saying “high five” for her 5th birthday?
