Success cut for different vinyl types

Today this pretty lady cut 4 different types of adhesive vinyl .
Matt (I didn’t take a picture of)
Glossy thick
Chrome
Shimmer
Always do a test cut when you try new materials even if the material is Loklik or htvront the settings are not accurate.
For example Loklik’s Matt vinyl didn’t cut when I chose the exact settings in Ideastudio so I had to increase the pressure to 7 which is way more than recommended.
This is why always do a test cut and save the settings for next time

And of we forget to do a test cut it’s better not to unload the mat and check if the cut was a success or should we do another round.

Yes test cuts are a must and save so much material. Even if I haven’t used a material in a long time I do a test cut. This is a great reminder

Sometimes after an update I feel settings change so I need to test before cutting too.

I often forget to do this! I ruined a whole sheet of UV color changing glitter HTV the other day. I was so frustrated about it! :joy:

Ohh that’s so sad :face_with_hand_over_mouth: but that’s how we learn :hugs:
I have UV glitter htv just made a post about it and my oy notice that it was very thick. I’ve never seen such a thick texture.
