Hey Crafties, I recently uploaded a video of an unboxing and was asked about my craft room. My craft room has taken many years to establish and has changed/progress through time. I began crafting on my dining table, a little desk in my bedroom and anywhere in my house that I found a little nook. This is a photo from 2 years ago, this was after much work and effort. I created a work area in my tiny living room that also served as our dining area.
I was so happy and proud to have this wall to do my crafts. I organized all my supplies (or at least what I can fit) in containers and placed them on the wall shelves. We thankfully remodeled our home to better accommodate our growing family. I am still in the living room but is much larger and I have natural light from the windows!
Here are a few photos of my craft room, hope they inspire you or help you organize your craft area. Remember that progress takes time, progress and growth are different for each of us, but continue to push forward. Continue to craft and do what you enjoy.
I am still next to my son’s toys and play area, but I would have it no other way. I am able to be present with him and come and/go as I need to.
As you see in the desk/cabinets, everything is on wheels! This has been very important for me as I host kids movie nights and playdates often. I am able to roll everything out into the garage if we need more room.
