I think we must have broken the Rune wheel⦠LOL! I have some shared projects from a couple days ago that havenāt received runes. I knew we were gonna spin it so much that we would break it! HA!
Yup! It is happening⦠Hopefully, the wheel will be back at service - Iām hoping for a green color wheel! ![]()
So cute!
What is a dollar tree?
Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Dollar Store are chain stores in USA that sell a variety of items at very low prices, with many costing just $1.
We have similar stores in UK called Poundland and Pound Stretcher.
Well, the Dollar Tree is a little different from the Dollar General and Family Dollar. The Tree has set prices of $1.25 on most items. Thereās a $3 section and a $5 section, now, as well. The Family Dollar and Dollar General price their items at an exact dollar amount, like $3, $5, $10, $12, etc. They carry full sized, name brand products, at maybe a slight discount, but the store has many different prices throughout, all the way up to $50. The Dollar Tree keeps their prices mainly under $5. It used to all be $1, but in 2021, they increased to $1.25 and added their higher dollar sections. Itās a great place to get crafting supplies, as you can get a lot of supplies at $1.25 ea. They also sell name brand items at the very low price of $1.25, but arenāt full size packages, as you would find at the Family Dollar, Dollar General, grocery, and department stores.
now you got me wondering what is Dollar General and Dollar family
but I can get from your words as I go reading theyāre all USAās stores ![]()
Thank you for your answer ![]()
Yeah, theyāre just discount stores, really. The Family Dollar and Dollar General are kind of discounted, but itās really just a more convenient store to pick up household goods, toys, and some food items and clothing. During spring and summer you can find gardening & summer stuff, and fall and winter you can find holiday decor and gifts. What makes them so convenient is that there are very many of them, so chances are, youāll find one, or both, near your neighborhood. If you need some laundry detergent or shampoo and conditioner or something like that, you can just run in and grab it really quick, without having to stand in a long checkout line or browse through a large store to find what you need. I get my laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, dog food, and hygiene stuff from there. Itās cheaper and more convenient than the grocery store. But if you want craft items, the Dollar Tree is where itās at! ![]()
Yeah most of the countries have different local stores systems like that or different. The farest from that and the closest to a local family store, the better
IMO
Itās the most wonderful time of the year!
I made this, yesterday. After I made the onesies, I spent the rest of the day designing, weeding and pressing this shirt. Iām so happy with how easy the HTVRONT Glitter vinyl is to weed, and I absolutely love the plaid patterned vinyl.
Not many local family stores near me that sell that kind of stuff lol. We have resell shops, but none that sell household items and crafting supplies. Otherwise, Iād shop there. The closest I could find to that would be someoneās yard sale who does couponing and they already bought the soaps and stuff from the dollar stores with coupons and are now selling at regular price in their yard.
But I donāt even come across those kinds of yard sales. ![]()
Not anymore, exactly because all the capitalism commerce crazines, and the lower is your economy level, the more difficult ethical/logical shopping is, same way, the lower it is, the more difficult eating healthy and away from obesity is.
But, sorry
, this is going to away from crafting, Iām sorry Iām changing the subject
I just didnĀ“t know that USA brands (I guess they are that, chain stores) It is like if I talk about going to Primaprix or Mercadona (or I have this or this primaprix and that mercadona) you just donĀ“t get Iām talking about stores
they can be a new tools ![]()
We use to call them āTodo a cienā (everything for 100, it sounds good in Spanish), but that was before the Euro, after that we recovered the traditional bazaar word unless it is a chain store. Iāve lived in the UK, same thing.
Where did you live in UK?

Letās get these runes!
Well, nothing seems to be working right, today, I hope this works. Itās not showing the image on the Inspiration Topics page. I have another one that still hasnāt synced, but it said it was approved in the app. So, idk. ![]()

Well, hereās this one. I saved it as a public design, as Iāve done the previous ones, but it wasnāt showing up over here. So, I added a new post in the Community section of the app. Hope it works.
